A documented portfolio across fields
Portfolio assessment · Simultaneous Architectural / Systemic-T Polymath
Shahir’s portfolio connects pharmacy practice, device and software development, published storytelling and institutional work. The Guide Initiative connects the live MERCY six-lens guide with digital access and free Malaysian affiliate participation for eligible communities, while the consultancy brings people with different expertise together. These support an architectural orientation in his current work; the proposed 2e programme and intended global legacy remain goals.

Reading the portfolio
Across all 19 profile points, the strongest case joins sustained pharmacy practice to completed device, software, publishing and learning outputs, then to advisory and institutional coordination. The guide organises 86 chapter-specific threads through six lenses, and the firm creates a structure for complementary expertise. The 2015–2025 milestones developed in sequence; the current profile describes pharmacy, 2026 publishing, advisory, Mensa service and company work overlapping. Simultaneous Architectural / Systemic-T Polymath is therefore the editorial description of the current practice, built on a serial foundation. It does not certify a tier or prove lasting field-wide impact.
We use three lenses: breadth considers the range of substantive work; depth looks for sustained knowledge, responsibilities and outputs; synthesis looks for useful connections between fields. These lenses draw on research by Michael Araki and are used here for a portfolio analysis, not a psychometric test or professional accreditation. The complete record below retains every numbered point from the professional profile. Related roles, awards and records are not counted as separate fields, and a point’s inclusion does not imply equal expertise in every area.
Research behind the framework ↓01 · Breadth
Medicine preparation, medication safety, device design and software are connected but distinct forms of work. The patent and clinical application provide concrete examples.
MERCY, independent publishing, its reading guide, The Guide Initiative and inclusion advocacy extend the portfolio into storytelling, learning and access.
Advisory work, Mensa administration, social entrepreneurship, the firm and the Nikoli collaboration add organisational and commercial contexts.
02 · Depth
Pharmacy practice, medicine-safety work, research and quality initiatives establish the main professional base.
The co-invented device, Warfarin Dosing HTK and its copyright record show execution beyond an interest in technology. The innovation-finalist letter records recognition of the application.
Writing and independently publishing MERCY demonstrates a finished creative project. Its historical Amazon category capture is evidence of that displayed position, not a measure of expertise in every theme of the book.
03 · Synthesis
Medicine preparation and dosing questions are translated into a physical device and a digital application.
The book and free companion guide join creative communication with learning and access. The guide maps 86 chapter-specific threads and gives each science, history, psychology, ethics, faith and art as distinct lenses—an observable design for connecting fields, not evidence that readers have acquired a particular ability.
The consultancy and advisory roles organise complementary expertise around practical challenges; the Nikoli collaboration connects partnership work with a digital game product.
The blueprint joins completed projects and proposed support for gifted and twice-exceptional children under a shared ethical aim. The six-lens reading method gives its literary strand a concrete form; changes in readers or society remain intended outcomes.
The six-lens reading guide, The Guide Initiative’s access and participation routes, and the consultancy are enacted structures for connecting knowledge and people. A planned support network for 2e children remains a programme aim.
By 1 November 2026, the online story, six-lens guide, digital reader and Malaysian affiliate routes connected learning, distribution and inclusive earning opportunities. Registration is free. Approved OKU affiliates, active KKM staff and active UiTM Faculty of Pharmacy students and staff can receive 100% of verified clean profit on eligible later sales after private eligibility approval. This is an operating design for participation; actual income and learning outcomes require separate evidence.
04 · Pattern over time
Simultaneous current practice on a serial foundation
The dated app, competition, device and medicine-disposal records mark successive phases from 2015 to 2025. The profile then describes continued public-service pharmacy alongside 2026 writing and publishing, advisory activity, Mensa leadership and company founding. That reported overlap supports a simultaneous current phase; it does not establish that all 19 points were active at once or that every earlier project continues today.
Simultaneous / concurrent: substantive activity in more than one field during an overlapping period.
Serial / sequential: substantial work in different fields across successive phases of a career.
These are working descriptions of timing, not a hierarchy of “proper” and lesser polymaths. Both patterns can involve breadth, depth and synthesis. A role list without dates cannot establish overlap by itself.
The medicine-disposal proposal recognised in the MyMediSAFE challenge connects pharmacy with an environmental question.
Authorship and publishing, the free reading guide, Mensa service, advisory work and founding the consultancy are described alongside public-service pharmacy work. The blueprint joins these documented activities with future aims. The Guide Initiative’s affiliate and community-access website features were deployed during 31 October–1 November 2026, Malaysia time.
How the strands connect
The recurring move is to organise an answer around a practical need: a medicine-preparation device, a dosing tool, a book with a learning guide, an international collaboration or a firm that brings expertise together. This describes how documented outputs connect; a proposal is not evidence that its intended impact has already happened.
Pharmacy provides the professional depth. Technical development, research, publishing, advisory work and institutional service extend the catalogue. The record shows where these strands connect without implying equal expertise in every field.
A degree records a course of formal training. A patent, an application, a publication, a research paper or an institutional responsibility records a particular kind of work. Read together, these records show the portfolio’s range, depth and connections. They do not turn a copyright record into legal expertise, a book’s themes into clinical qualifications, or an advisory role into ownership of a company’s achievements.
Career titles, public visibility and documented contributions answer different questions. There is no single defensible ranking of their importance across all of history. Search visibility, fame and an AI-generated answer are also different from independent verification of a contribution. This page describes Shahir’s documented work without assigning a national rank.

19 of 19 profile points shown
Health · device design Patent and MOH record linked
Malaysian patent MY197771A names Shahir as a co-inventor of a tablet grinding and mixing device designed to help turn tablets into a liquid medicine. Separately, the Ministry of Health’s 2019 technical report describes the E-Mix portable medicine mixer as the world’s first portable medicine-mixing machine. These records support his work in medicine preparation and device innovation.
A clinical preparation problem is translated into a co-invented physical device. This is direct evidence of application and integration, with pharmacy as the starting discipline.
Digital health Author-held official letter linked
A 5 May 2015 letter from Malaysian Nuclear Agency (Nuklear Malaysia), under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, records Warfarin Dosing HTK App as a finalist in the Service category of Anugerah Inovasi Negara 2015 (National Innovation Award). Separately, the Ministry of Health recognition record lists the Hospital Tanjong Karang Android application as third place in the Technology category of its 2015 innovation award.
The finalist letter records recognition of a specific application. It supports the software project’s record without creating a separate field of mastery or proving clinical outcomes.
Publishing · access Founder’s profile account
Mercy Series Global is the subcompany of Polymath Consultancy Firm. It was established by the founder as the global donation arm for its parent company. It has provided free books to multiple foreign Muslim institutions in 13 countries. It has also proposed to major countries royalty free publishing rights or 100% profit from MERCY sales in that country.
The access and publishing activity connects a creative product to a social purpose. Separate the reported book donations from publishing-rights proposals that still depend on agreement.
Pharmacy · software Professional and MOH records linked
The Malaysian Mensa Society describes Shahir as a prominent Malaysian pharmacist. He developed Warfarin Dosing HTK, a digital tool for clinical warfarin dose support. A Ministry of Health recognition record lists the Warfarin Dosing HTK Android Application among award-winning pharmacy innovation projects.
The dosing application combines pharmacy knowledge with digital implementation. Pharmacy is the depth anchor; software is a means of translating that knowledge into a tool.
Social entrepreneurship Author-held official letter linked
A 30 December 2016 letter from Malaysia’s Ministry of Finance records his entry as one of the Top 20 consolation-prize winners in the National Blue Ocean Strategy Competition (NBOSC). The letter documents this competition recognition; it does not imply that the proposal became government policy.
The NBOSC recognition adds a social-entrepreneurship context. Competition recognition supports the entry, while adoption or implementation would require a separate record.
Environmental health Initiative source and profile account
Shahir has contributed to advocacy for the safe disposal of unused medicines and environmental protection. The MyMediSAFE Innovation Challenge 2025 recognized a medicine-disposal proposal. The initiative’s official materials describe the wider effort to reduce environmental harm from medicines; this profile does not claim he founded the programme.
Medicine disposal connects a pharmacy problem to environmental sustainability. Proposal recognition is distinct from founding the wider initiative or delivering a national programme.
Inclusion · communication Profile account of advocacy
Through public communication and his writing, Shahir advocates for greater understanding of twice-exceptional (2e) people, neurodiversity and the support needs of young people and families. This is advocacy and storytelling, not a claim to provide diagnosis or clinical treatment.
This contributes a public-communication and inclusion strand. It concerns advocacy for others, and does not establish a clinical qualification or a personal diagnosis.
Literature · faith · learning Published creative work and profile
MERCY is an illustrated Islamic story about Zayd and his father, Khalid. It explores neurodivergence, faith, self-worth and the ways children, families and faith communities can each contribute to a child’s development. Shahir is not an Ustaz and has no formal training in teaching religion; he writes as a Muslim author sharing a personal, faith-centered story, not as a religious authority.
The story combines faith-centred fiction with questions of identity, learning differences and family support. Its synthesis is creative communication, rather than religious or clinical accreditation.
Authorship · independent publishing Book and historical captures linked
MERCY was Shahir’s first book, written in English, his second language. Amazon category screenshots captured on 28 October 2026 showed MERCY as #1 New Release in Children’s Islam Books and #2 Best Seller in Children’s Islam Books (Top 100 Paid). Amazon rankings change frequently; these captures record the positions shown at that time. He independently publishes the illustrated story for young readers and families. Its themes include dignity, faith, learning differences and compassion. The official book website, www.mercyseries.com, provides the synopsis, reading guide, why it matters, and summary.
The completed book and independent publication demonstrate creative execution. Its free guide maps 86 discussion threads through six subject lenses, linking story, faith and cross-field inquiry without proving educational effects.
Strategy · educational technology Advisory role described in profile
Shahir has worked as an advisor and consultant for a number of companies, with the most recent being Goolee Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian Edu-tech and learning innovation company that helps companies, government agencies, schools, educators and communities turn ideas and capability gaps into educational games, digital products, professional training and inclusive learning experiences. Goolee has won numerous awards, including the Malaysia TVET & Education Award 2024 and the Gold Award at the International Invention, Innovation, Technology, Competition & Exhibition (ITEX 2025). Many of Shahir’s current projects, including his MERCY book and the establishment of Polymath Nexus Consultancy, were inspired by the company and its work supporting underserved communities. He is an apprentice of Goolee Sdn Bhd’s founder, Dr. Kamarulzzaman Bin Ahmad, and hopes to return the favour one day.
The Goolee relationship connects strategy, educational products and social purpose. The company’s awards remain company achievements and are not reassigned to the adviser.
Institutional leadership Society listing linked
He serves as National Secretary of the Malaysian Mensa Society for 2026/2027. The society’s National Committee profile describes him as a prominent Malaysian pharmacist and innovator.
National Secretary service adds organisational responsibility and coordination. A leadership role gives context to the portfolio; membership by itself does not establish polymathy.
Software · intellectual property MyIPO record linked
A MyIPO IP Online record for copyright notice LY2015000290 names Shahir Anuar Bin Shahrani as the author and owner of the Warfarin Dosing HTK Android Application. It records submission on 4 March 2015 and registration on 11 August 2015.
The copyright notification documents authorship and ownership of the application. It supports the output trail, rather than certifying medical effectiveness or legal expertise.
Strategic advisory Profile and contact-page account
Alongside his public-service pharmacy work, Shahir undertakes independent strategic and social-impact advisory. His professional contact page provides the current profile and enquiry route for advisory and collaboration work.
This records an advisory strand alongside pharmacy. It overlaps with point 10 and should not be counted as an additional independent discipline merely because it is a separate profile box.
Research · service improvement Research and pharmacy records linked
He has contributed to pharmacy quality initiatives and co-authored research on pharmacy value-added services in Selangor. His work also reflects an interest in improving how healthcare services reach people and communities.
Research on service use and quality initiatives connect evidence gathering with the practical organisation of healthcare.
Education · policy design Proposals described in profile
His advocacy includes accessible learning, inclusive design and child wellbeing. He has drafted and shared proposals on children’s mental health and education, including the Initiative for Those Who Come After and the proposed National Initiative for Malaysian Children’s Minds. These documents are proposals; this profile does not represent them as adopted policy or delivered programmes.
The proposals connect inclusion, learning and child wellbeing at a systems level. Their contribution here is framing and design; the profile does not establish government adoption.
Institution building Founder’s stated purpose
Shahir founded Polymath Nexus Consultancy to bring together people whose different fields of knowledge can help address complex challenges. The firm’s method is to connect expertise and turn it into practical, inclusive work for future generations. His own portfolio spans pharmacy practice and research, medicine-device invention, digital health, publishing, education, strategic advice, institutional leadership and social-impact initiatives. The numbered entries on this page show where that work developed concurrently, where it unfolded in sequence, and how ideas were connected through tools, services, stories and learning resources. His concerns about young people and digital media remain his perspective, not established predictions. Read the consultancy’s founding purpose and areas of expertise.
Founding the firm is an attempt to assemble complementary expertise around human problems. The founder’s concerns are a motivation for the work, rather than empirical proof of a predicted social outcome.
International collaboration · games Collaboration account and product links
Shahir reports contacting Nikoli Co., Ltd. (Nikoli.co), the Japanese puzzle company associated with Sudoku, and brokering a collaboration for Nikoli to develop a digital board game in exchange for rights to the Numberlink game. This is his account of the role and agreement terms. Nikoli’s public puzzle information and the store listing establish the puzzle and a digital product, but do not independently verify his role or the agreement terms.

The Nikoli account links negotiation, partnership and a digital game. It supports a collaboration example without implying sole authorship of the puzzle or software.
Health · play · literature · institutions Founder’s blueprint and linked project records
The Initiative for Those Who Come After began with Shahir’s question about what children learn when attention is continually pulled toward screens and families have less time for reflection together. He treats the possibility of declining empathy and moral attention as a working concern. His blueprint links several kinds of work around a practical aim: make room for patience, belonging, faith and shared responsibility in the lives of children and those who care for them.
As an independent strategic and social-impact adviser to Goolee Sdn Bhd, he sought educational and inclusive forms of play that invite cooperation, reasoning and perseverance. He also reports contacting Nikoli, the Japanese puzzle publisher associated with Sudoku, and brokering a proposed digital-game collaboration involving Numberlink rights. Expanding access to such games in Asia was an aim of the partnership, not a measured outcome reported here.
In parallel, he wrote and independently published MERCY internationally as a story through which families can discuss Allah’s mercy, self-worth, learning differences and compassion. An Amazon Hot New Releases screenshot captured on 28 October 2026 showed it as #1 New Release in Children’s Islam Books. A same-day Amazon Best Sellers screenshot showed it as #2 Best Seller in Children’s Islam Books (Top 100 Paid); rankings change frequently, and these captures record the positions at that time. Shahir describes a quieter teaching method beneath the story: return to a moment and ask how its meaning changes when viewed from another field. The free MERCY Reading Guide maps 86 chapter-specific discussion threads and lets readers revisit each through six lenses—science, history, psychology, ethics, faith and art. The 86 threads are the guide’s editorial map, rather than a list printed in the book. He designed this as a practice in polymathic thinking for Muslim families and hopes the habit of connecting faith and inquiry will reach families around the world and pass to later generations. He intends the method as a lasting contribution to his faith; that legacy remains a hope rather than an observed result. He also describes giving copies to some institutions and approaching Muslim organisations overseas about wider access. The outreach is an action; its long-term effect on readers remains unmeasured.
Shahir says he returned to the Malaysian Mensa Society seeking a role through which he could connect people and resources for the initiative. He later became National Secretary for 2026/2027. He describes two related aims: strengthen support for gifted children, including work he envisaged with former chair Tan Kee Aun, and bring people with different expertise together. He went on to found Polymath Nexus Consultancy with colleagues whose work spans youth leadership, management, education technology and public health. The longer ambition is to connect specialist knowledge across fields and reduce the isolation of twice-exceptional young people. The existing roles and projects are recorded here; the wider cultural change remains an aspiration.
Early responses from organisations in Australia and Canada have been encouraging. The National Zakat Foundation’s New South Wales service manager suggested a possible connection with the United Muslims of Australia’s children’s programmes, where there may be an opportunity to read MERCY. Al-Ma’arif Special Education described the themes as meaningful and welcomed the book as a possible resource for families and educators. These messages show interest and encouragement; they do not establish formal adoption or measured impact.
The blueprint connects play, literature, family learning and institutional plans. The MERCY guide makes its cross-field teaching intention visible in 86 threads with six lenses; future generational impact remains a hope, not a measured result.
Learning · access · inclusive enterprise Published learning resource and live programme pages
The Guide Initiative connects The Guide in the MERCY series, its free six-lens reading guide, the digital reader and opportunities for community participation. It is a practical strand of For Those Who Come After, joining learning, access and inclusive enterprise within one system.
Families and educators can use the free MERCY Reading Guide to revisit 86 story threads through science, history, psychology, ethics, faith and art. The digital reader gives the story an app-based route. In Malaysia, adults can register as affiliates without a recruitment fee or an app purchase. Every registered affiliate receives one free personal app copy, a personal identifier and access to their sharing tools.
The special community routes connect access with earning opportunities. After private eligibility verification and owner approval, approved OKU affiliates, active KKM staff, and active students or staff of UiTM’s Faculty of Pharmacy can receive 100% of verified clean profit from eligible subsequent affiliate sales; the publisher receives RM0 from those eligible sales. Clean profit is calculated after actual payment-processing fees and confirmed applicable tax, with refunds and disputes accounted for under the programme terms. It is not a promise of earnings or 100% of the selling price.
The affiliate and community-access website features were implemented and deployed during –, Malaysia time. The initiative brings these features together with the existing reading guide and digital reader, connecting the 2026 publishing and learning work with a route for sharing, access and participation.
The initiative is based in Malaysia and delivered online through mercyseries.com. The Malaysian programme has dedicated routes for:
These are independently operated MERCY programmes for eligible participants, rather than programmes administered or endorsed by KKM or UiTM. The reading resource is accessible online internationally, alongside outreach to organisations overseas. Outreach, confirmed participation and measured outcomes are recorded separately.
The story supplies a shared starting point; the six-lens guide structures inquiry; the reader delivers access; and the affiliate routes connect local sharing with an earning mechanism. Registration, verification, personal links, issued coupons and support provide the operating structure. Together, they show the design of an ecosystem around a learning resource. Public programme pages establish the available routes; participant numbers, actual earnings and educational effects need separate outcome records.
The Guide Initiative connects the story, six-lens reading guide, digital access and free Malaysian affiliate participation. Approved OKU affiliates, active KKM staff and active UiTM Faculty of Pharmacy students and staff can receive verified clean profit from eligible later sales after private approval under the programme terms. These routes document an implemented learning and participation system; participant earnings and learning outcomes require separate evidence.
06 · Portfolio review
Reviewed through breadth, depth and synthesis, with timing considered separately. This is an editorial reading of the available portfolio, not independent accreditation.
Editorial portfolio type
Simultaneous current practice · architectural synthesis built on a serial pharmacy, technology and publishing trajectory
The 19-point record supports an editorial description of Simultaneous Architectural / Systemic-T Polymath. Pharmacy is the sustained professional foundation (01, 04, 14); the patent, dosing application and its copyright and innovation records establish applied technical outputs (01, 02, 04, 12). MERCY and its reading guide add a completed creative and educational structure (07–09, 19). Advisory, partnership and institutional work connect people and organisations (03, 05, 10–11, 13, 15–17). The earlier innovations and recognitions developed serially, but the profile also describes pharmacy continuing alongside 2026 publishing, advisory, Mensa leadership and the consultancy. That overlap supports “simultaneous” for the current phase; it does not mean all 19 activities occurred together. The architectural description rests on connected tools, a guide and a firm that organises expertise, while a lasting field-wide paradigm remains unproven. The Guide Initiative connects the learning resource with digital access and verified community participation routes (19), without establishing participant earnings or educational effects.
Range of breadth
All 19 entries are considered, but related outputs are grouped instead of counted as 19 independent fields. The strongest substantive clusters are pharmacy and health service (01, 02, 04, 06, 12, 14); authorship, publishing, faith-centred storytelling and learning resources (03, 07–09, 15, 18–19); and advisory, entrepreneurship, leadership and institutional coordination (05, 10–11, 13, 16–17). This is broad professional and creative practice, with different levels of evidence and depth in each cluster.
Level of depth
Pharmacy practice and research provide the sustained professional anchor (01, 04, 14). The patent, Ministry of Health material, finalist letter and MyIPO copyright record document specific device and software outputs (01, 02, 04, 12); MERCY and its guide document completed writing and independent publishing (08–09, 19). Other entries show responsibilities, advocacy, proposals or a founder account, not equivalent qualifications or proof of adoption. Depth is therefore evidenced across several modes of work but remains strongest in pharmacy.
Capacity for synthesis
A clinical preparation problem informed a co-invented device (01), pharmacy knowledge informed a dosing application (02, 04, 12), and medicine-disposal advocacy connects health and environment (06). MERCY and its 86-thread, six-lens guide connect storytelling, faith, inclusion and family learning (07–09, 15, 19). Advisory, partnership, Mensa and company activity (03, 05, 10–11, 13, 16–17) show attempts to organise people and ideas across settings. Completed tools and publications support an architectural orientation; planned programmes and hoped-for effects are still proposals or aims. The Guide Initiative (19) extends this design into app access and free affiliate participation for Malaysian OKU, KKM and UiTM Pharmacy communities, with eligibility checks and clean-profit rules.
Simultaneous or serial?
The application and copyright record date to 2015 (02, 04, 12), social-enterprise recognition to 2016 (05), the Ministry of Health device report to 2019 (01), and medicine-disposal recognition to 2025 (06). These are a serial sequence of milestones, not evidence that every early project remains active. The current profile places public-service pharmacy (04, 14) alongside 2026 authorship and publishing (08–09), advisory (10, 13), Mensa service (11), company founding (16) the ongoing blueprint (18) and The Guide Initiative’s affiliate and community-access website rollout on 31 October–1 November 2026, Malaysia time (19). This is the strongest supported basis for a simultaneous present-day description; each appointment’s exact dates and intensity are not fully documented.
The points form three connected work clusters. Each is counted once below; the linked profile record preserves its original evidence and limits.
Points 01, 02, 04, 06, 12 and 14 show pharmacy depth, an identified medicine-preparation patent, a dosing application, research and environmental-health work. The patent and official records document particular outputs; they do not establish universal clinical effectiveness.
Points 03, 07, 08, 09, 15, 18 and 19 connect the completed MERCY book and guide with faith-centred storytelling, access, inclusion and child-focused proposals. The Guide Initiative adds live digital-access and affiliate participation routes (19). Reported donations, proposed programmes and implemented routes have different evidence status from measured educational or social outcomes.
Points 05, 10, 11, 13, 16 and 17 cover competition recognition, advisory work, Mensa office, company founding and the Nikoli collaboration account. They support an organisational and strategic strand without assigning a client company’s awards or the partnership’s outcomes solely to Shahir.
This is an editorial assessment of all 19 profile points, not an accreditation, validated tier or IQ-based ranking. “Simultaneous” describes the reported overlap of current pharmacy, publishing, advisory and institutional work; the dated earlier milestones are serial. “Architectural / Systemic-T” describes the design of connected tools, a learning guide and a multidisciplinary firm, not a licensed-architect qualification or proof of an enduring new field. Proposals, reported donations and hoped-for generational effects remain distinct from independently documented outcomes.
This review refers to the numbered profile points above and their source records. A proposal, affiliation or award is interpreted only for what it establishes. Timing is considered separately from the range and connection of work.
